Sara Noelle creates ambient-folk music and has released three albums, Morning MoonCover the Blue and Do I Have to Feel Everything, the latter two recorded and produced by Dan Duszynski at Dandy Sounds studios in Dripping Springs, TX. Singles from her most recent album include "Blooming Yucca," "Slip Away" and "Color of Light on the Water." Sara frequently works with animator and artist Kelsey Boncato to create dream-like videos for her songs. Her latest single, "Weather Vane," is set to be released in late June (which also features a collaboration with Boncato).

For the past five years, Sara has recorded annual original holiday songs, including "Little Dove" and "I’ll Sleep ‘Til Christmas," all of which have appeared on best-of lists. "Noelle's songs aren't haunted, but the electronic atmospherics paired with her treated voice make her songs sound like they come from somewhere else, even while they sound very human," wrote New Orleans-based music journalist Alex Rawls.

Sara is also the creator of Lyrics as Poetry, a print-only literary journal that spotlights the work of songwriters, where lyrics can be appreciated on their own, as art on the printed page. More than 150 songwriters have been featured and 90 journalists and writers have contributed original prose pieces. Copies have been stocked in 40-plus stores in the U.S. and abroad. And, now in its third year, the annual Lyrics as Poetry Live showcase in Austin brings the ethos of the print journal to a live audience with featured performers. “Ultimately Lyrics as Poetry is a simple idea done very well, as all good things generally are," noted magCulture.
